Description

A stacked night photo of Crich Stand, using 12 light frames with 3 dark frames.

The tower was completed in 1923, and was built in honour of those from the Sherwood Foresters regiment who lost their lives in battle. The tower is 1,000 feet above sea level, and the red light pollution comes from the town of Matlock, which is situated northwest of the location.
