The Great War Memorial, Nottingham

Shot at sunset in November, this elegant new memorial on Victoria Embankment features the names of all 13,482 people from Nottinghamshire who lost their lives in the 1914-1918 Great War, as well as civilian casualties killed in the 1916 Zeppelin air raid and the victims of the Chilwell shell-fillling factory explosion in 1918.
