Silent Night 1

A starry photo stack of a lone tree near Magpie Mine (Sheldon) in the Derbyshire Peak District, using 15 photos (set at ISO 3200, f/4.0 and 15 sec with Neutral Night Filter). This was my first excursion into the Peaks since lockdown restrictions were eased, and despite some cloud cover and light pollution from Chesterfield and Sheffield in the east, I was very pleased to still be able to capture the Milky Way above this lone tree. I had planned to shoot Magpie Mine, but it was already crawling with other photographers!
