The Eagle has Landed

Description

A starry photo stack of Eagle Stone at Baslow Edge in Derbyshire, using 16 photos (set at ISO 5800, f/7.1 and 15 sec), taken on Friday 28th February 2020.

The huge tower of gritstone is a popular climbing spot, with an old local custom requiring young men to climb the stone in order to prove their 'manliness' before being allowed to marry! The red light pollution comes from the town of Buxton, which is located west of Baslow.
